Ryding2health Blog

Bodyweight exercisesIt’s been a bit wild round here lately. Only the mad, bad, or totally insane have been outside training. (I did see a cyclist out the other day who was bordering on completely insane!) so what exercise can you still do inside?

Once you are Real you can’t become unreal again. It lasts for always. ~Margery Williams

I’ve had the Velveteen Rabbit on my mind a lot recently (I recently even purchased a copy of the book both for myself, and as a birthday gift for our 3-year old niece along with a stuffed velveteen rabbit of her own) and so I was inspired to post this excerpt from “Simple Abundance, A Daybook of Comfort and Joy” by Sarah Ban Breathnach and “The Velveteen Rabbit” by Margery Williams. I posted something similar a few years ago, but it just simply doesn’t get old in my book.

Chivalry, by definition, is as follows:

noun, plural chivalries for 6.
1. The sum of the ideal qualifications of a knight, including courtesy, generosity, valor, and dexterity in arms.
2. The rules and customs of medieval knighthood.
3. The medieval system…

Things You Need To Walk Away From

Positive Outlooks

A lot of walking away will do your life good. Walk away from arguments that lead you to anger and nowhere. Walk away from people who deliberately put you down. Walk away from the practice of pleasing people who choose to never see your worth. Walk away from any thought that undermines your peace of mind. Walk away from judgmental people, they do not know the struggle you are facing and what you have been through. Walk away from your mistakes and fears, they do not determine your fate. The more you walk away from things that poison your soul, the healthier your life will be.Dodinsky
